AFCAT: Recruitment in Indian Air Force

Air Force AFCAT Sample Paper 1 (PDF)

Duration: Recruited candidate will join duty for 14 years with no further extension.

Air Force for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/ Short Service Commission (PSC/ SSC) in Technical and Ground Duty Branches for the following courses  for Men and Women through AFCAT:

  • 86th Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) Men (Technical Branch) Permanent Service Commission
  • 15th SSC Flying Branch for Men
  • 44th SSC Flying Branch for Women
  • 58th Short Service Commission Course (SSC) Men & Women
  • 137th Ground Duty Officers Course (GDOC) for Permanent Service Commission  for Men
  • 30th  Ground Duty Officers Course (GDOC) for SSC   for Men
  • 46th  Ground Duty Officers Course (GDOC) for SSC  for Women

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only Single male and female can apply
  • Age: 20 to 24 years
  • Education: Graduation degree with at least 60% marks and Intermediate (10 + 2) with Physics and Maths.

AFCAT Online Application: Online at Air Force website in June and December.
