What is BHU UET?

Bnaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) to accepts admission into professional, vocational and general under graduate courses in University.

BHU UET Application:

B. A. (Hons.) Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 150 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 450 marks

B. A. (Hons.) Syllabus: General Awareness, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Basic knowledge of Plants & Animals, Environment & its Pollution, Human Body, Human Health, Common Diseases, Production of Food & Raw Materials, Solar System, Climate & Weather, Population Explosion, Natural Resources of Industry, History, Indian cultural heritage with special focus on major currents in Indian Thoughts, literature, art and Language comprehension (Hindi or English)

Syllabus for B.A. (Hons.) Social Sciences: General Awareness, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Climate and Weather, Natural Resources & Industry and Elementary knowledge of History, Political Science, Social Studies, basic knowledge of Plants and Animals, Environment and its Pollution, Human Body, Human Health, Common Diseases, Population Explosion, Production of Food and Raw Materials, Solar System, Psychology, Economics and Language comprehension (Hindi or English).

B. Com. (Hons.) Exam Pattern:

B. Com. (Hons.) Syllabus: Accountancy, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Markets Management, Economics, Money and Banking, Basic Mathematics, Computer Basic, Business Organization Business Management and Current Economic Affairs

B. Sc. (Hons.) Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 150 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 450 marks

B. Sc. (Hons.) Maths Group Syllabus: 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (Intermediate level)
B. Sc. (Hons.) Biology Group Syllabus: 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Intermediate level)

Shastri (Hons.) Exam Patterrn:

  • Exam Duration: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 300 marks

B. Sc. (Hons.) Biology Group Syllabus: Hindi and Sanskrit Language questions

B. Sc. (Hons.) Exam Patterrn:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 objective type questions (Section I and II are compulsory and candidate need to any one section from III, IV and V).
  • Maximum Marks: 300 marks

Paper Sections: I. Mental Ability – 25 questions; II. Chemistry – 25 questions; III. Physics & Mathematics – 50 questions; IV. Botany & Zoology – 50 questions; V. Agriculture – 50 questions

B. Ed. Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 150 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 300 marks

Section (A): 30 questions from teaching aptitude, reasoning, current educational scenario.
Section (B): 70 questions from Languages (Hindi, English, Sanskrit), Science ( Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Home Science), Mathematics and Social Sciences / Humanities (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Commerce) and subject choose by Candidate in Application form

LLB Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 150 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 450 marks

BHU LLB Syllabus: General Awareness, Common Legal Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability and Language comprehension (Hindi or English).

BA-LLB Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 150 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 450 marks

BHU LLB Syllabus: General Awareness, Common Legal Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability and Language comprehension (Hindi or English).

B. P. Ed. Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 300 marks

BHU BP Ed. Syllabus: General Sports Knowledge, General Studies, Aptitude Test, Current Affairs.
Physical Fitness Test carrying 300 marks will be also conducted.

BPA Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 300 marks

BHU BPA Syllabus: Questions will be based on the instrumental / Dance subject choose by the candidate.
Practical Exam (performance and viva) of 45 minutes and carrying 600 marks will be conducted.

BFA Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 120 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 360 marks

BHU BFA Syllabus: General awareness of Painting, Sculpture, Commercial Art/Applied Art, Pottery, Ceramics and Textiles.
Practical Exam (600 marks – 300 marks/90 minutes each section): (i) Object drawing with pencil and light.
(ii) Memory drawing from imagination. Candidate can use any medium like Pencil, Colour Pencils, Pastels, Crayons, Water Colour, Poster Colour)

B. Voc Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 150 objective type questions
  • Maximum Marks: 450 marks

Syllabus for Food Processing & Management / Medical Lab Technology: general awareness, general mental ability, numerical ability, Language comprehension (Hindi or English) and questions based on subject choose by candidate.
Syllabus for (Retail & Logistics Management / Hospitality & Tourism): Mental Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Language comprehension (Hindi or English).

Candidates who satisfy minimum eligibility criteria and qualify UET exam will need to download admit card for admission counselling from www.bhuonline.in.
