What is Karnataka SET?

University of Mysore conducts Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer / Assistant Professorship in colleges and universities.

Karnataka SET Important Dates (Tentative):

Online Application: 20 July to 25 August
Exam Date: 1st Sunday of December
Exam Date: Last Sunday August

Karnataka SET Eligibility:

  • Candidate must have obtained at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree.
  • There is no upper age limit.

Karnataka SET Exam Pattern:

First I Teaching Aptitude 100 50 questions to be attempt out of 60) 9.30 AM to 10.45 AM
II Subject choosed by Candidate 100 50 11.00 AM to 12.15 PM
Second III Subject choosed by Candidate (in depth questions) 150 75 1.30 PM to 4.00 PM

Candidates must obtain at least 40% marks in Paper I & Paper II each and 75% marks in Paper III.
