Statistical Investigators (Grade IV)

 

Post of Statistical Investigator Grade IV of Subordinate Statistical Service (SSS), a group ‘C’ non-Ministerial post in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

Eligibility for Compiler and Statistical Investigators:

Age: Maximum 26 years

Educational Qualifications for Statistical investigators: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Commerce (with Statistics as one of the subjects) from recorginized University.

Note: Candidates who are not graduates or appearing in graduation are not eligible.

Written Examination Scheme by SSC:

Paper Subjects Time Maximum Marks
Paper I General Intelligence 120 Minutes 50 Marks
General Awareness 50 marks
English and Comprehension 100 marks
Part II Conventional Type (Mathemetics or Economics or Statistics or Commerce) 120 Minutes 200 marks

In Part II questions are set on the subject of candidate at graduate level. The candidates are required to answer questions on any of the subjects.

Interview (Personality Test):

The Interview is structured in such a manner that the candidates’ interests, knowledge, various traits, aptitude, suitability, etc. are probed through academic qualification, extra-curricular activities, general awareness/ knowledge, depth of knowledge of the subject studied (10+2), Communicative skill and personality etc.

Rs. 5000-8000
