CRPF Recruitment exam

A competitive exam is conduct by CRPF to fill various posts of Sub Inspector (Stenographer), Assistant Sub Inspector and constable. Both male and female candidates can apply for this job.

CRPF Sub Inspector Recuitment

Eligibility for CRPF Sub Inspector:

Educational: Intermediate (12th Class) passed.

Technical (For ASI Tech.) : B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or ITI Diploma in Radio Engineering.

Typing Speed (ASI Steno): 40 wpm (in English) or 30 wpm (In Hindi).

Age : 18 to 25 years

Physical eligibility for male candidates: Minimum height required is 165 cms, chest 77 cms (un-expanded) and 82 cms (expanded). Candidate must have good vision.

Physical eligibility for female candidates: Minimum heigt is 157 cms. Candidate must proper vision.

Relexation in eligibility as per government rules.

CRPF Selection Procedure :

CRPF Sub Inspector selection procedure is divcided in following parts:

  • Physical measurements & general health check
  • Objective Paper (general hindi / english language, general intelligence, numerical aptitude, clerical aptitude). Maximum time for this paper is 2 hours.
  • Typing Speed Test
  • Short hand speed test (for Stenographer)
  • Interview

CRPF Constable Recuitment

Eligibility for CRPF Constable:

Education: 10th passed (Matriculation)

Age: Between 18 to 23 years.

Physical Eligibility: Minimum height required is 167 cms (for Constable-Burgler minimum height required is 170 cms), chest: 80 cms (unexpanded), 85 (expanded). Candidate must be free from all diseases.

  • Trade Selection
  • Interview
  • Medical Test

Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed format in response to the advertisement which appears in the Employment News paper and other prominent national dailies from time to time.
