IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria:
Institutes participate in IIT JAM and their minimum educational qualification to join the course.
Integrated Ph.D. in Biological Sciences:
IISc Bangalore: Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry or Physics or Mathematics. The candidates should have passed Biology at the Higher Secondary (10+2) level.
Integrated Ph.D.in Chemical Sciences:
IISc Bangalore: B.Sc. or an equivalent degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects. The candidates should have passed mathematics at the PUC or +2 level.
M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree in Biotechnology
IITB: Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Medicine (MBBS). The candidate should have passed Mathematics at the (10+2) level.
M.Sc. Biotechnology
IITB, IITR: Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Medicine (MBBS).
M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree in Environmental Science & Engineering
IITB: Bachelor’s degree with any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters, and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters. The candidate should have passed Mathematics at (10 + 2) level.
Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry
IITBbs, IITKgp: Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters and should have passed Mathematics at (10+2) level.

Thanks for sharing the eligibility criteria of IIT JAM Exam 2018. I am a science stream student. I am in 2nd year of B.Sc. By check out eligibility criteria I found that I am eligible for the exam. I will appear next year in JAM Exam and prepare well to qualify the exam.

Thanks for providing the eligibility criteria for the JAM. I am preparing for IIT JAM 2018 and I found that I am eligible for that. I am preparing with the study material of Eduncle Its such a good study material with notes in easy language to understand, previous years question papers and mock tests also. It helps me a lot. Eduncle study material helps me to clear my concepts very well.
I didn’t have mathematics at +2 level. Will I be eligible for IIT- JAM for M.Sc Biotech?
