What is IIT JEE?

Simply, the key to get admission in India’s top Engineering colleges. IIT JEE is the Enginerring Entrance Exam conducts by all IITs, BHU and ISM Dhanbad to take admission in B.Tech., B. Pharm. and other courses.

IIT JEE Eligibility:

  • The candidate applying for IIT JEE Exam must have passed 12th or Intermediate with minimum 60% aggregate (55% for SC, ST and PC).
  • One can attempt IIT JEE only twice, one after 12th Board Exams and then very next year. After this period a candidate.

IIT JEE Application Form:

One can choose one from Online or Offline Application procedure.

IIT JEE Notification:

  • Exam Date: 8 April 2012.
  • Exam Time for Paper I: 09 AM to 12 PM, Paper II: 02 PM to 05 PM.

IIT JEE Exam Pattern:

There will be two exam papers each of three hours and consist of Multiple choices (single correct), multiple choice (more than one correct), assertion-reason, paragraph and matrix match.

Exam paper will have 8 multiple choice (single correct), 5 reasoning or multiple correct questions, three paragraph or comprehension linked question (total 9 questions) and single matrix match for each Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE Reservation:

18% of total number of seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

  • 15% of total number of seats in JEE are reserved for ST candidates.
  • 7.5% of total number of IIT JEE seats are reserved for SC candidates.
  • 3% of total IIT JEE seats are reserved for Physically disable person.

IIT JEE Result:

IIT JEE result is used to declare in May month. One can get result at any IIT site.
