Eligibility for AC (Engineer):

Age: Not more than 30 years
Education Eligibility: Civil Engineering Degree by recognised college/university
Physical Eligibility for Male: Height: Minimum 165 cms; Chest: 81 Cms unexpanded and 86 Cms expanded; Weight: Minimum 50 kgs; Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/9; Near Vision: 0.6, 0.8
Physical Eligibility for Female: Height: Minimum 157 cms; Weight: propionate to height; Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/9; Near Vision: 0.6, 0.8
Salary (Pay Band): Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 + 5400 (Grade Pay)

Application Process:

Candidates who found them self eligible for Assistant Commandant (Engineer) post need to send Certified copy of following documents with Application form (specimen copy of application form can be downloaded from itbpolice.nic.in).

1. Matriculation certification (for Age proof)
2. Educational certificates
3. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC)
4. Two self addressed stamped envelope (11.5 Cms x 27.5 Cms)

Selection Process :

Whole selection process Physical screening, PET and Written exam will be conduct on same day.
Part I: Physical Screening
Part II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as per event below.

Part IV and Part V: Those who clear all parts (I, II and III) will be called for Interview (Part IV) and Medical Examination (Part V).
All candidates are required to produce original documents at the time of interview.
Important: Selected candidates are required to serve in the ITBP for at least 10 years, those who quiet before completion of this period will need to refund his/her 3 months salary and expenses or training expenses.
