Medical Jobs in Indian Army

A person can join Indian army medical corps as a permanent or short service comission officer.

AMC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for Medical Officer in Indian Army (SSC):

(I) possess a medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule ol IMC Act 1958.

(II) must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI, Post Graduate Degree holders i.e. MD/MS/ MCh/DM in following subjects are given preference: Anaesthesia, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine.

Age: 18 to 45 years

Nationality: Only male citizens of India who are medically fit are eligible.

Educational Qualification for Dental Corps in Indian Army (Permanent Commission):

(I) Candidates must he BDS with minimum 60% marks in final year/MDS from a recognized College/University

(II) Completion of 1-year rotatory Interns

Age: 18 to 28 years

Nationality: Only male citizens of India who are medically fit are eligible.

Educational Qualification for Dental Corps in Indian Army (SSC):

(I) Candidate must be MDS fron recognized College

(II) Should have passed final BDS in First or Second attempt

(III) Should be in possession of Permanent Dentist Registration Certificate valid upto at least at the time of interview.

Age: Maximum age is 45 years

Nationality: Only male citizens of India who are medically fit are eligible.

Eligibility for Nursing Assistant: 10 + 2 with Physics, English, Biology and Chemistry. OR B. Sc. in Botany / Zoology / Bio-Science and English.
