What is LSAT India?

LSAT India or (Law School Admission Test – India) is a verbal reasoning test conducts by LSAC for use by Law colleges in India.

LSAT India Notification:

Online and Application Form: 15 December to 15 April each year
Candidates can apply at: www.pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia
LSAT Exam Date: Mid of May each year

LSAT India Eligibility :

Candidate must have obtained minimum 45 marks in 12th (10 + 2) exam. This is general eligibility criteria, some participating college may have their own eligibility criteria

Total Time for Exam: 2 hours 20 minutes
Section 1: Reading Comprehension:
Questions: Four passages with 5 to 8 questions from each paragraphs; total 24 questionsappx.
Passage Topics: Science, Philosophy, Economy, History, Law.
Section 2: Analytical Reasoning:
Questions: Four sets of rules / statements / conditions are given with 4 to 7 questions with each; total 24 questions appx.
Section 3 & 4: Logical Reasoning:
Questions: Questions are based on short passages, statements, arguments, or discussion; total 24 questions in each sections appx.
Section 5: Experimental Section:
Marks obtained in this section will not be count towards total.
Candidates need to write an un-scored essay which will be send to law college. College can use that essay as tie breaker between two candidates.
NO Negative Marking.

LSAT India Syllabus:

Section 1: Reading Comprehension:
These questions will measure reading ability, understanding and insight
Section 2: Analytical Reasoning:
Student need to answer questions from a set of statements and rules or principles that describe relationships among persons, things, or events.
Section 3 & 4: Logical Reasoning:
Critical thinking ability, reasoning by analogy.
