NABARD Recruitment Overview:

  1. Vacancies: 85 (SC – 12; ST – 07; OBC – 10; Gen – 56)
  2. Recruitment Procedure: (Step 1) Online Preliminary Exam (Step 2) Online Main Exam (Step 3) Preliminary Exam for Development Assistant (Hindi)

NABARD Development Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Educational: All candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks & the knowledge of word processing on Computer.

Age: Age of Candidate should be between 18 to 35 years

NABARD Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern:

Step 1: Online Preliminary Exam:

  1. Max. Marks : 40
  2. Time: 60 minutes
  3. Marking: 1/4 mark deduct for each wrong answer.
  • Test of English Language (40 questions / 40 marks)
  • Test of Numerical Ability (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • Test of Reasoning (30 questions / 30 marks)

Step 2: Main Exam:

  1. Total Marks:200 marks for Objective questions and 50 marks for Descriptive questions
  2. Test Duration:One and Half Hours for Objective questions and 30 minutes for Descriptive Questions.
  3. Negative Marking:1/4 mark will deduct for each incorrect answer.

Main Exam

  • Test of Reasoning (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • Quantitative (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • General Awareness (with special reference to agriculture, rural development and banking) (50 questions / 50 marks)
  • Computer Knowledge (40 questions / 40 marks)
  • Test of English Language (Descriptive) (50 questions / 50 marks)

The examination pattern will be as follows for Development Assistant (Hindi):

Step 3: Preliminary Exam for Development Assistant (Hindi):

  1. Marks : 40
  2. Time: 60 minutes
  3. Marking:1/4 mark deduct for each wrong answer.

Preliminary Exam for Development Assistant (Hindi):

  • Test of the English Language (40 questions / 40 marks)
  • Test of Professional Knowledge (Hindi) (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • Test of Reasoning (30 questions / 30 marks)

Step 4: Main Exam:

  1. Total Marks:200 marks for Objective questions and 50 marks for Descriptive questions
  2. Test Duration:One and Half Hours for Objective questions and 30 minutes for Descriptive Questions.
  3. Negative Marking:1/4 mark will deduct for each incorrect answer.

Main Exam:

  • Test of Reasoning (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • Test of Professional Knowledge (Hindi) (30 questions / 30 marks)
  • General Awareness (With special reference to agriculture, rural development and banking) (50 questions / 50 marks)
  • Computer Knowledge (40 questions / 40 marks)
  • Test of English Language (Descriptive) (50 questions / 50 marks)

Final selection will be based on candidate’s performance in the online Main examination in the order of merit. The Bank’s decision in this regard will be final.
