NIH Recruitment Details:

Selection of the Project staff (RA/ JRF and SRF) will be done through Walk In Interview for Project (Mass and Energy Balance studies of Phuche and Khardung glaciers, Ladakh Range).

Candidates will serve for 1 year or till completion of the project.

Eligibility Criteria and other Details:

Maximum Age (for all posts): 35 years
Post: Research Associate (RA)
Pay Scale: Rs. 36,000 + HRA
Eligibility: (1) Ph.D in Engineering / Science
OR
(2) ME/M.Tech in Hydrology, Soil & Water Conservation Engg., Meteorology, Agro-Meteorology, Geoinformatics and 3 years experience in Teaching / Research.
Note: Candidates who have experience in Glacier Mass balance/Himalayan Cryosphere and Remote Sensing and GIS will get preference.

Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Pay Scale: Rs. 28,000 + HRA
Eligibility: BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Agriculture Engineering / Environmental Science and minimum 60% marks in GATE.
Note: Candidates who have experience in Himalayan Cryosphere and Remote Sensing and GIS will get preference.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (SRF)
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000 + HRA
Eligibility: (1) BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Agriculture Engineering / Environmental Science and minimum 60% marks in GATE.
(2) M. Sc. in Hydrology / Water Resources / Geoinformatics / meteorology / Environmental Sciences / Earth Science with minimum 60% marks and NET qualified.
Note: Candidates who have experience in Remote Sensing and GIS will get preference.
