Osmania university conducts Ph D Entrance Test for admission into Ph D programmes in Arts, Engineering, Social Sciences, Management, Commerce, Law, Education, Science, Oriental Languages, Pharmacy and Informatics.

Osmania University Ph D Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should have passed Post Graduation (Regular or Distance mode) in concerned subject with minimum 55% marks.

Note: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / APSET / JEST / GATE / GPAT are exempted from Entrance Exam. Candidates who have M. Phill degree from Osmaniaa university or have Ph D degree in an allied subject are also exempted from Entrance Exam.

Osmania Univ. Ph D Entrance Test pattern:

Maximum Time: 90 minutes

Maximum Questions: 100 multiple choice questions

Type of Questions: analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view.

Note: Candidate will need to score at least 50% marks in Entrance Test to qualify for admission.
