What is UKSEE?

Uttrakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE) is open entrance exam conducted by Uttrakhand Technical University, Dehradun for accepting admission into B. Pharm, BHMCT, MCA courses and for lateral entry into B. Tech, B Pharm and MCA.

Note: Admission into first year of B. Tech is based on JEE Mains score.

Exam Notification:

  • Online Application Form: First week of May to Last week of May at www.uktech.ac.in
  • Admit Card: From May
  • Exam Date: Last Sunday of May
  • SEE Result: First week of June

Uttrakhand State Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria:

  • B. Pharm: Intermediate (10 + 2) with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths / Biotech / Biology.
  • BHMCT: candidate should have passed Intermediate (10 + 2) with minimum 45% marks.
  • MCA: Graduation with 50% marks and Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or graduation level.
  • B. Tech (2nd year Lateral Entry): B. Sc / Diploma in Engineering or Technology course with at least 45% marks.
  • B. Pharm (2nd year Lateral Entry): Diploma with at least 45% marks.
  • MCA (2nd year Lateral Entry): BCA / B. Sc (IT / CS) with 50% marks and Maths at 12th or graduation level.

UKSEE Exam Pattern:

  • NO Negative marking
  • Maximum time for B Pharm entrance exam is 2 hours, for all other exams maximum time is 1.5 hours.

B Pharm. Exam Pattern:

  • Physics and Chemistry (50 questions from Chemistry and 50 from Physics) 100 marks)
  • Mathematics or Biology (Botany & Zoology) (50 questions / 50 marks)

BHMCT Exam Patern: Aptitute Test cum General Knowledge Test (75 questions /  100 marks)

MCA Exam Pattern: Aptitude Test (100 questions/ 100 marks)

B. Tech (Lateral Entry) Exam Pattern: Aptitude Test (75 questions/ 100 marks)

What is UKSEE Advanced Entrance Exam?

UKSEE is graduation level Entrance Exam for admission into Post Graduation Exams like M. Pharm, M. Tech courses. Candidates who have valid GATE score (for M. Tech course) need not to give entrance exam, they can attend counselling without giving entrance exam.

UKSEE Advanced Notification:

  • Online Application Form: Last week of April
  • Entrance Exam for M. Tech (for candidates who don’t have valid GATE score): Second week of June
  • Date to publish List of Short Listed candidates: in last week of June
  • Counselling (for candidates with GPAT / GATE score): First week of June

UKSEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria:

For M. Pharm: 55% marks in B. Pharm. and valid GPAT score.

For M. Tech: B. Tech with minimum 60% marks. (Preference for admission will be given to candidates who also have valid GATE score)

UKSEE Advanced Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure:

  • M. Pharm: Admission into M. Pharm will be based on merit of valid GPAT score.
  • M. Tech: Candidates who don’t have valid GATE score need to give entrance exam for admission.
  • Syllabus for M. tech Entrance exam will be same as GATE Exam Syllabus

Aptitude test for M.Tech – 100 objective type (30 questions for General Engineering and 70 questions for selected subject by candidate) – Total 500 marks / 2 hours
