Railway Medical Common Recruitment Examination
Railway recruitment boards holds a common written exam to recruit candidates for various posts in Railway hospitals and departments.
How to Apply:
- Online Application: Candidate can fill application form at concerned RRB website.
- Offline Application: Candidates can print the application
forms and information sheets along with annexure and use for sending
applications to RRBs. - List of Zonal RRB consist all zonal RRB website, contact details and address for sending draft to RRB.

RRB Recruitment Process:
(i) Written Exam: There will be common written test by RRB.
- Written test will include questions from: General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Technical Ability for the post
- Negative marking: For each wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deduct.
- Duration of the examination will be 90 minutes with
approximately 100 questions.
(ii) Railway Medical Fitness test and document verification: Those who stand in merit will be called for Medical Fitness test and document verification process.
Medical Fitness criteria:
Physically fit in all respects. Visual Standards – Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with
or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6
with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.
