How to join Indian Navy Electrical Engineer:
General Service in Indian Navy:
A electrical engineer job is to maintain underwater weapons, missile systems, radar and radio communication equipment form major part of a warship’s equipment. A majority of these are either computer-based or computer aided and incorporate the latest trends in electronics engineering.

How to Join Indian Navy:
- Male candidates can apply NDA and INA Exam.
- 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry: Male candidates with 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (minimum 70% marks in aggregate of PCM, minimum 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th class). Age criteria for this entry in navy is 16.5 years to 19 years.
- Short Service Commission (General Service): Candidates with degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Engg, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Control System, Power Electronics, Avionics, Computer Science/IT Engg with minimum 60% can apply.

Submarine Electrical Officer:
Submarine Electrical Officer will deal with computer based or computer aided missile system, weapon systems, radars, underwater weapons and radio communication equipment and ensure that all these sensitive and complex equipment are kept operational at peak efficiency.
On completion of the training, Submarine Electrical Officer will join “Dolphin Badge” and become member of the Navy.
Eligibility for Submarine Electrical Officer:
Short Service Commission (Submarine): Men who are BE / BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Control Engg/ Telecommunication Engg with 60% marks and aged between 19.5 to 25 years can apply

University Entry Scheme:
Final Year male students of Electrical, Electronics, Power Engg, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Control System, Power Electronics, Avionics, Computer Science/IT Engg with minimum 60% upto VI th Semester. Age criteria is 19 – 24 years.
