People are asking why didn’t IRGC or US navy blocked the yacht.
What happened exactly is, the yacht which is named “Nord” worth $500 million is owned by Alexey Mordashov who is a Russian Billionaire and has been under international sanctions since 2022.
The yacht departed Dubai on Friday night, sailed through the strait on Saturday, and arrived at Muscat, Oman, on Sunday morning crossing through Strait of Hormuz.
Why Iran’s IRGC didn’t stopped it?
Because it is owned by prominent wealthy Russian and Russia is a friendly country to Iran, so they gave it safe passage.
Why USA’s Navy didn’t stopped it?
US Navy’s blockade is focuses on vessels stopping at Iranian ports or carrying Iranian oil, so they also didn’t bother to stop it.
So, it got the safe passage mostly due to technical bureaucratic reasons.
