A 16-year-old sleeping in his car won a national math competition – fact or fake?

But it looks more like an inspirational story instead of real news.

When we searched google, we found all results are from facebook which made us think it might be just some ai generated inspirational post / “feel-good” story to get likes on social media.

MIT do offers financial help for needful students but winning a maths competition is not much that makes MIT offers free rides.
