The mentioned quote: If we are ‘infidels,’ then get out of our country is in no official Nepal govt statement, press release or social media post Belan Shah or any other minister or Government Official.
Also, the term “infidel” (or Kafir) is not part of the political or administrative vocabulary used in Nepal.
This has been falsely mapped onto Balen Shah’s image to exploit his popular “tough-on-rules” reputation.
